Medical Assistant Secretary

Job Description

We are seeking a Medical Assistant to become a part of our team! You will perform routine administrative and clinical assignments to keep the medical facility running smoothly. 34-38 Hours a week. Mon, Tue, Thurs 7:30-5 and Two Saturday per month 7:30 to noon possibly Wednesday 8-12

Responsibilities:

Friendly face to greet and obtain patient history
Assist with exam documentation and simple office procedures
Clean, autoclave and organize instruments
Stock exam rooms, organize sample closet
Help educate patients
Schedule appointment and verify insurance

Qualifications:

Previous experience in medical office
Familiarity with medical terms and insurances
Strong organizational skills
Ability to thrive in current medical/social environment
