Terminal ManagerOK Oklahoma City - Oklahoma City, OK 73129The Manager is responsible for ensuring the daily functions are carried out effectively and safely while meeting all schedules, key performance indicators and profitability of the Service Center. The CSC Manager will lead, develop and motivate the centers personnel, provide forecasting and budgeting, perform daily audits of various functions, support drivers, the shop, office and EHS staff and be a liaison with other sites and all corporate functions.Essential Job Functions :Maintain DOT regulatory, and company Safety Policy complianceManage, develop, and communicate to upper management KPIs relative to the Terminal Managers scope of responsibilitiesDevelop, maintain, and exceed fiduciary budgetsEvaluate processes and procedures and make necessary recommendations for changes as well as enforcing their complianceResolve customer concerns and disputes in a timely mannerProvide direction, guidance, and counseling to drivers, fleet managers, shop supervisors, technicians, and customer service representativesWork across departments to provide continuous improvement plans as related to enhancing the company's profitability by (but not limited to): Ensuring profitability of the service center by analyzing and controlling costsReviewing and making changes as needed to maintain the most efficient staffing of company units to achieve the highest utilization as possibleSubmitting various financial and operational reports and action plans as requiredWorking with and support the vice president of sales and the business development managers to grow our profitable businessAssisting business development managers in the identification, acquisition, and retention of customersDeveloping and growing business relations with customersPreparing and implementing action plans to ensure planned productivity and service goals are achievedOverseeing work schedules for all personnel and maximizing available work hoursPreparing and managing safety, security, and loss prevention procedures in accordance with Company, OSHA, and DOT guidelinesResponsible for the clean and safe working condition of the facility and equipmentInterpreting, implementing, and enforcing Company SOPs, policies, and proceduresCarries out other duties as assigned by the VP of Operations or COO as requiredMinimum Qualifications for Consideration :High School Education or equivalentMinimum of Seven years of managerial experience in transportation industry.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Ability to manage operating procedures, regulatory requirements and customer relationsAbility to communicate in a clear and precise manner in written and oral communications with all levels and in various settingsAbility to provide clear direction for the team while communicating and enforcing policies and proceduresWorking knowledge of health, safety and environmental regulations related to bulk productsKnowledge of DOT regulations, federal and state standards, OSHA Laws, Hazardous Materials RegulationsMust demonstrate exceptional integrity and judgement to make timely decisionsSelf-starter with detail-oriented work habitsAbility to maintain confidentialityIntermediate computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite: Excel/Word/Outlook/Teams)Transportation Management Software experience preferred (TMW, Peoplenet)Experience in bulk transport services preferredPhysical Requirements:Sitting for long periods of time, walking, finger dexterity, feeling, repetitive motions, and talking, hearing and visual activity.Occasional lifting (up to 20 pounds).Working Conditions:Normal office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and copier/printer/scanners.Required to travel as needed
