We are not looking for someone to maintain dashboards. We need a technically grounded analyst who is energized by ambiguous problems, comfortable working with noisy and incomplete data, and excited about the possibilities that voice AI and conversational systems create.The RoleWe are seeking a Contract Data Analyst with a strong decision-science and experimentation background to join our AI product team. You will partner with a senior analyst already embedded on the project and work together to analyze outputs from our voice AI system, identify data quality gaps, drive experimentation cycles, and feed actionable insights back into the model improvement process. This is iterative, exploratory work - you will help define the analytical framework as much as execute against it.Day-to-Day Responsibilities- Analyze large volumes of voice- and text-based AI output data, identifying patterns, anomalies, gaps, and opportunities for improvement- Evaluate data quality on an ongoing basis - determine what is missing, what is unreliable, and how to address it through internal methods or vendor feedback loops- Design and execute experiments to test hypotheses about system behavior and measure the impact of changes to the AI model- Collaborate closely with the existing data analyst, product managers, and senior data leadership to align analytical priorities with business goals- Translate ambiguous, open-ended questions into structured analytical approaches and communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders- Proactively recommend next steps and analytical directions - not wait to be told what to do- Write SQL queries and Python scripts to extract, transform, and analyze data from Snowflake and other sources- Contribute to the documentation and frameworks that will help scale this analytical function over timeRequired Skills & Qualifications- 3-7 years of data analytics experience, with a meaningful portion focused on decision science, experimentation, or statistical analysis (not primarily dashboarding or BI)- Strong Python proficiency - used regularly for data manipulation, analysis, and exploratory work- Strong SQL skills - comfortable writing complex queries against large datasets- Experience with Snowflake or a comparable cloud data warehouse- Demonstrated ability to work with messy, incomplete, or unstructured data (text, audio logs, or similar)- Experimental mindset - experience designing A/B tests or other structured experiments and interpreting results rigorously- High degree of intellectual curiosity and comfort with ambiguity - this project does not have a fully defined roadmap- Strong communication skills; able to synthesize findings and present them to both technical peers and business stakeholders- Self-directed and proactive - must be comfortable driving work forward without a prescriptive set of requirements- Ability to work Eastern hours (at minimum, alignment with core team hours required)Nice to Have- Experience with Tableau or other visualization platforms- Familiarity with AI/ML systems or working alongside data science and engineering teams building predictive models- Prior exposure to voice AI, NLP, or conversational AI data pipelinesWhy This Role Stands Out- Work on one of the most strategically important AI initiatives inside a nationally recognized technology platform- Genuine contract-to-hire pathway - this is not a dead-end engagement; strong performance leads to a full-time offer- Collaborative, small-team environment where your analytical contributions have direct and measurable impact- Fully remote - work from anywhere in the United States with flexibility around core hoursBenefitsVacation/PTOMedicalDentalVision401kBonusRelocationTelecommute
