Details\n \n Med/Surg unit setting within a hospital \n 28-bed unit with 32 FTEs including RNs and PCTs \n Patient ratios range from 5:1 to 6:1 \n Uses telemetry, video EEG, Hoyer lift, bladder scanner, and vital sign monitoring equipment \n EMR system is Meditech \n Night shift schedule, 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM \n Weekend rotation required, 4 shifts per month \n No on-call requirements \n Requirements\n \n Active TX or compact RN license required \n BLS certification required \n NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required \n Minimum 1 year of recent hospital experience required \n 3 years of nursing experience and epilepsy care experience preferred \n No gaps in work history exceeding 90 days within the past 12 months \n US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration \n Additional Information\n \n Care for a general Med/Surg patient population with a focus on team-oriented, feedback-driven culture \n Must be open to feedback and demonstrate ownership of patient care \n Navy blue scrubs with facility logo required \n Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; no local candidates accepted \n First-time travelers may be considered for this role \n \n \n American Traveler Job ID P-754443.
