Job Overview The Avionics Technician III is an entry‑level position ideal for new graduates from Avionics or A&P technology schools. It is also suitable for mechanics with less than five years of aircraft experience. Our Step‑Level Progression training program can help you acquire your FAA airframe license. Work Location Onsite at AAR (Will Rogers World Airport in Oklahoma City, OK). Schedule Full‑time, non‑exempt, variable 40–50‑hour work week. Supervisor determines shift/days required, but we can discuss options in the interview process. More flexible candidates are typically preferred.

1. st Shift: 7:30 am to 4:00 pm or 5:30 am to 4:00 pm
2. nd Shift: 3:30 pm to 12:00 am or 3:30 pm to 2:00 am

Essential Duties & Responsibilities Perform basic aircraft maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting tasks under supervision. Ensure aircraft are safely maintained in accordance with Airworthiness Standards. Use FAA approved/accepted data (i.e., IPC, M/M, OHM, SRM) proficiently. Maintain records in compliance with FAA and company requirements. Perform avionics repairs as assigned while meeting deadlines and quality standards. Read and follow technical publications, schematics, and/or mechanical drawings. Use a PC, iPad and basic computer applications and programs. Complete additional job‑related duties as assigned by supervisor or management. Adhere to work schedule, punctuality, and self‑motivation. Quality Orientation: Accomplishing tasks by considering all areas involved, no matter how detailed. Qualifications Primary Requirements 2+ years avionics experience required. Must be at least 18 years of age. High school diploma or GED required. Some general maintenance experience (including relevant experience outside of aviation). Strong electrical and mechanical aptitude and attention to detail are crucial. Able to skillfully use the minimum tools required. Fluent in English (speech, reading, writing). Preferred Requirements FAA Airframe and/or Powerplant license (A&P). Valid Driver’s License. Knowledge of FAA regulations including 14 CFR.
