Compensation Designed For Attorneys Who Want Upside We believe attorneys should understand the financial opportunity before investing time in interviews. This Role Includes Compensation Component Details: Base Salary $90,000 annually, paid weekly Performance Compensation 3% of collected gross revenue directly generated and personally handled by you Base Salary Growth: At $500,000 in attributable collected revenue over a rolling 12-month period, base salary increases to $100,000 Commission Growth: At $750,000 in attributable collected revenue over a rolling 12-month period, commission increases from 3% to 5% on revenue collected thereafter Annual Review: Compensation reviewed annually based on production, leadership, and contributions to the firm Benefits: Full healthcare, vision, dental, and IRA matching program Performance compensation is based on collected revenue, client work, and firm revenue-attribution policies. You Will Have The Opportunity To Work with families during some of the most important and sensitive moments of their lives Build skill in estate planning, elder law, Medicaid planning, probate, trust administration, and litigation Receive structured training in our firm systems and processes Develop your own client caseload Work within a growing, entrepreneurial law firm Increase your income as your production grows Build a long-term career instead of simply taking another job What You Will Do As an associate attorney with McIntyre Elder Law, your responsibilities may include: Meeting with clients for consultations and strategy sessions Advising families on estate planning, elder law, probate, Medicaid planning, long-term-care planning, and related matters Drafting and reviewing estate planning documents Handling probate and trust administration matters Assisting with Medicaid and long-term-care planning cases Participating in litigation matters when appropriate Helping clients understand their options and make clear decisions Developing your own client caseload Contributing to the growth of your office and the firm as a whole Your First 90 Days We do not expect you to know everything on day one. Your first one to three months will include structured training within our firm systems and processes so you can transition into the role with clarity and support. This role starts with a $90,000 annual base salary, paid weekly, plus performance compensation. Associate attorneys are eligible for 3% of collected gross revenue directly generated and personally handled by them. At $500,000 in attributable collected revenue over a rolling 12-month period, base salary increases to $100,000. At $750,000 in attributable collected revenue over a rolling 12-month period, commission increases from 3% to 5% on revenue collected thereafter. Is this a commission-only role? No. This role includes a guaranteed base salary plus performance compensation. Do I need estate planning or elder law experience? Experience is helpful, but we are willing to train the right attorney. Strong communication skills, professionalism, judgment, and a desire to grow are critical. Do I need to bring a book of business? You are not required to bring an existing book of business to start. You will be expected to develop your own client caseload over time and contribute to the growth of your office. What kind of legal work will I do? The role may include client consultations, estate planning, probate, trust administration, Medicaid and long-term-care planning, and litigation matters when appropriate.
