HR Associate – Generalist

Job Summary

We are seeking an HR Associate – Generalist to support HR data management, job data cleanup, skills mapping, and HR system-related activities. This role combines administrative data work with HR knowledge and requires the ability to review information, assess job-related data, and make informed decisions regarding skills and classifications.

The ideal candidate will have broad HR knowledge, experience working with HR systems and data, and the ability to apply sound judgment when reviewing and validating information.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform HR and job-related data cleanup within Oracle and other HR systems.
• Migrate and maintain job description data within HR systems.
• Map skills to appropriate job profiles and classifications.
• Review job-related data for accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
• Validate system-generated skills and determine whether they appropriately align with job profiles.
• Make informed judgment calls regarding skills, classifications, and job-related information.
• Enter structured job information into designated Oracle fields.
• Review and correct data discrepancies or inconsistencies.
• Support data quality and standardization initiatives within HR systems.
• Apply HR knowledge and business judgment when evaluating job and skills information.

Examples of Work

• Copy and enter structured job data into Oracle fields.
• Review and validate system-generated skills.
• Determine whether identified skills appropriately match specific job profiles.
• Evaluate job-related information and make appropriate classification decisions.
• Identify inaccurate, incomplete, or inconsistent HR data and make necessary corrections.

Ideal Background

• Broad HR knowledge with a generalist HR background .
• Experience in HR Shared Services or a similar HR operations environment.
• Experience working with HRIS, Oracle, or other HR systems.
• Comfortable working with HR data, job information, and structured datasets.
• Strong understanding of job profiles, skills, classifications, and HR processes.
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Good business acumen and ability to make informed judgment calls.
• Ability to work independently while following established guidelines and processes.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills.

Important Note

Although the position includes a significant amount of administrative and data-entry work, this is not purely a data-entry role . Candidates should have sufficient HR knowledge and business understanding to evaluate job-related information and make appropriate decisions regarding skills and classifications.
