Job Description

A leading packaging company in Bardstown, Kentucky, is hiring a 3rd shift Printing Press Helper, to assist the Press Operators. This role includes assisting with monitoring quality throughout press runs, setting up materials and machines, moving products, and aiding in quality checks.

Responsibilities :

• Reading job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements
• Making sure job and material is in order prior to machine set ups
• Moving and loading film in and out of press
• Assist with wash-ups and keeping supplies available
• Follow all safety and operational procedures

Qualifications and Requirements :

• High school diploma or GED
• 3 years previous experience in a manufacturing role is required
• Previous experience with troubleshooting minor mechanical issues
• Computer skills with basic data entry is required
• Must be able to train on 1st shift, 6:00am – 2:30pm
• Possess good manual skills, attention to detail, and able to read work-based instructions
• Able to stand on feet the entire shift
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Willing to be trained to become an Assistant Press Operator
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment screening

The base salary range for this position is $19/hr, excluding benefits, bonuses or other compensation. Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future salary growth.
