Core Responsibilities

• Performing thorough patient evaluations, prescribing diagnostic tests, and creating personalized care strategies
• Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic conditions either independently or in collaboration with physicians (based on credentialing)
• Instructing patients and their families on preventive measures, wellness practices, and chronic disease management

Educational Background

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Necessary Certifications

• Valid Nurse Practitioner licensure in Pennsylvania
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or equivalent specialty credential
