Nurse Aide (CNA) - Medical Intermediate Care

Overview The Nurse Aide I supports and incorporates WakeMed's Patient & Family Centered Care (PFCC) model by delivering patient care under the direction of the Registered Nurse. The Nurse Aide I understands the needs of the organization and supports the mission, vision, values, and aspirational goals. Four key concepts of PFCC:

• Dignity and Respect: Listen to and honor patient and family perspectives and choices.
• Information Sharing: Communicate and share complete and unbiased information with patients and families in ways that are affirming and useful.
• Participation: Patients and families are encouraged and supported in participating in care and decision-making at the level they choose.
• Collaboration: Patients and families and the Nurse Aide I collaborate in the delivery of care.
