Job Title: Clinical Genetic Counselor-Assistant Professor-Human Genetics Department: Medicine | IM Human Genetics Position Summary: The Ohio State University, Division of Human Genetics seeks a dynamic genetic counselor for a clinical excellence faculty position in the growing adult medical genetics clinical care area. This role involves providing clinical genetic services, developing new clinical collaborations and service delivery pathways, conducting research on rare disease, and actively engaging in teaching and mentoring graduate students, medical students, residents, and fellows. Responsibility / Performance Objectives: Clinical faculty members are dedicated to academic clinical practice, education, and translational research in adult genetic specialties. Responsibilities include active participation in patient care within general genetics clinics, establishing new clinical relationships, teaching genetic counseling graduate students, medical students, residents, and fellows, supervising clinical rotations, and working on genetic research programs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
