Assistant Jamaican Cook / Kitchen Assistant

Job Summary We are looking for a dependable Assistant Jamaican Cook at Goldenkrust -8030 Senoia Rd to support food preparation and kitchen operations. This role assists with preparing authentic Jamaican and Caribbean dishes, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring food is prepared safely and consistently in a fast-paced kitchen. Key Responsibilities Assist with prep work including chopping, seasoning, marinating, and portioning ingredients Support cooks during food preparation and service Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen and work areas Follow food safety standards and proper food storage procedures Help with inventory, stocking, and general kitchen organization Work as part of a team in a busy kitchen environment Requirements Prior kitchen or food service experience preferred Interest in Jamaican or Caribbean cuisine Ability to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced environment Strong reliability, punctuality, and teamwork skills Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly pay based on experience 401(k) retirement plan Paid vacation after one year of employment Opportunities for growth and advancement Work Environment Commercial kitchen environment with heat, noise, and fast-paced service.
