Position Title: Jamaican Cook / Caribbean Cuisine Cook Position Summary We are seeking a dependable and passionate Jamaican Cook to join our team at Goldenkrust-8030 Senoia Rd. This position is responsible for preparing authentic Jamaican and Caribbean-style meals while maintaining high standards for food quality, cleanliness, and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a team‑oriented environment and can work efficiently in a fast‑paced kitchen setting. Essential Job Functions Prepare and cook Jamaican and Caribbean dishes according to recipes and quality standards. Properly season, marinate, and prepare meats, seafood, vegetables, soups, sauces, and side dishes. Ensure all food is prepared safely and in compliance with health and sanitation guidelines. Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen equipment, workstations, and storage areas. Monitor food quality, freshness, and presentation. Assist with inventory, stock rotation, and kitchen organization. Follow all company safety procedures and kitchen policies. Work collaboratively with management and team members to support daily operations. Perform additional duties as assigned to support business operations. Qualifications Previous cooking or kitchen experience preferred. Experience preparing Jamaican or Caribbean cuisine preferred. Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment. Strong teamwork and communication skills. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices preferred.
