Production Operator

Description:
Prepares and examines production materials for processing.
Operates all equipment and processes.
Monitors machine parameters and troubleshoots processing problems.
This entry-level operator position is responsible for the timely and safe manufacture of powder coating products that meet the customer's needs and specifications.

Mandatory:
• Managing time and tasks to meet or exceed individual production goals safely and efficiently while actively contributing to meeting overall team results. • Working to improve assigned line performance on a daily basis.

Desired Skills:
• Employee is required to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift and carry up to 30 lbs. frequently and up to 55 lbs. on occasion.
• Employee will be sitting, standing, walking and stooping, climbing, and kneeling.
• Employee must be able to tolerate nuisance dust and be able to wear a respirator as required.
• Employee must be able to operate a hand truck and/or material handling equipment.
• Must be able to climb and descend stairs.
• Must be able to sit, stand, walk, hear, and have good color vision and depth perception.
• Must be able to read, write, comprehend and communicate in English.
• Able to climb a ladder and/or use a man-lift.
• Able to work at heights up to 30 feet.
• Indoors and outdoors as needed.

Exposure to heat up to 120 degrees and cold to 0 degrees.
• Will work in areas where noise level is such that hearing protection is required.
• Will work in areas where toxic, flammable, and hazardous materials are present.
• Work surfaces include concrete, steel grating, black top, facility roof, etc.
