What You'll Do

• Provide specialized gastroenterology care at a busy, multi-location facility
• Support a team of 9 Advanced Practice Providers and nursing staff
• Conduct patient evaluations, diagnostic procedures, and follow-up care
• Manage a diverse patient age range (average age 58)
• Collaborate with staff to coordinate comprehensive GI services
• Participate in call coverage, including occasional night shifts
• Use Cerner EMR to document and manage patient records

What You Need
Required:

• Medical degree (MD or DO)
• Board Certification in Gastroenterology
• West Virginia medical license (or eligible for license)
• DEA certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Minimum 60 days credentialing timeframe
• Ability to perform general GI procedures

Preferred:

• Previous experience in a hospital setting
• Flexibility with shifts and schedules

About the Assignment
Join a dedicated team supporting general GI hospitalist services across three locations. You will provide day-to-day diagnostic and treatment services, working alongside skilled support staff. The facility emphasizes patient-centered care and professional growth.
