Community Monitor / GroundskeeperThe property monitor is a host for Walton Communities. This team member adds value to Walton Communities by assuring that the entire community is maintained at the highest level of excellence in order to offer our residents and team members an amazing experience.Duties/Responsibilities:Ensure personal appearance is at Walton standards at all times including appropriate uniformEnsure property appearance meets or exceeds Walton standards at all times including community entrance, amenity areas, grounds, breezeways, parking garage, elevators, etc.Understand and model Walton Communities Basics consistentlyParticipate in resident activities and functionsAssist Walton team by facilitating delivery of correspondence to resident doorsMaintain community golf cart to help create an amazing experience for each prospect visitMaintain community at a superior level of neatness and cleanliness by adhering to the Walton StandardsMaintain playground equipmentMaintain entry gate and kiosk to superior levelMaintain pool at a superior levelAssist the Maintenance Manager with simple service requests as neededPersonal Competencies:Education & Certifications:High School Diploma or equivalentExperience/Requirements:Ability to work in heat/coldAbility to be on feet for extended periodsAbility to bend and lift up to 50 lbs.Ability to drive a golf cartAbility to walk up three flights of stairsCore Competencies:Attention to detail - meticulousAbility to organize & prioritize workAble to work/be on feet all dayGood people skillsSelf-MotivatedAbility to work individually and on a teamTakes pride in their workAppreciation for "presentation"Positive attitudeAbility to "see the big picture" regarding community needs
