Key Highlights Weekly pay: $2,810–$2,944 per week Contract length: 17 weeks Shifts: 8-hour days; 5 days/week (M–F) with on-call for nights/weekends Start date: 09/14/2026 Location: Rochester, NY Setting: Endoscopy/GI service in an acute-care environment Responsibilities Assist physicians during endoscopy and GI procedures, maintaining sterile technique and ensuring procedure readiness Monitor patient vitals, manage telemetry, and identify rhythm disturbances during procedures Administer sedatives and medications as prescribed; support conscious sedation and IV drip administration Prepare, sterilize, and handle instruments and supplies; support doctors throughout the procedure Recover patients after procedures, monitoring for complications related to sedation or anesthesia Document all patient notes, discharge instructions, and relevant procedure details Requirements New York State RN license (active) BLS (American Heart Association) required ACLS (American Heart Association) required Minimum 2 years of endoscopy procedure experience Telemetry monitoring and rhythm identification capability Conscious sedation and expert IV insertion skills Experience recovering patients from general anesthesia and handling GI procedure intake Benefits and Support 24/7 recruiter and travel support Credentialing and onboarding assistance Scheduling coordination and on-call support Extension opportunities for continued assignments Dedicated support throughout the assignment Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
