Registered Nurse - Pediatric Cardiac Care

Schedule

12-hour rotating shifts, including days, evenings, and nights. On-call and callback duties required.

Assignment Details

Contract length: 17 weeks. Guaranteed hours: Not specified.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse License (New York only)
• 2 years of experience
• Pediatric Cardiac Care experience required
• Telemetry experience required
• Certifications: BLS, PALS, ACLS (all from American Heart Association), and NIHSS

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive, state-of-the-art diagnosis and care for patients with cardiac conditions.
• Administer medical and surgical treatments to patients of all ages.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to outline patient care strategies.
• Monitor and manage patient conditions using telemetry systems.
• Offer long-term follow-up care for patients with congenital cardiac disorders.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and health maintenance.
