Commercial Semi‑Trailer Repair Specialist | Lenexa, KSWhy this role?

What will you do?- Complete routine maintenance and repair on semi trailers—brake systems, lighting, and suspensions.
- Diagnose faults and implement practical, lasting repair solutions.
- Perform safety compliance inspections and suggest needed repairs or upgrades.
- Record all services and repairs accurately and completely.
- Work alongside fellow technicians to meet deadlines.
- Keep your knowledge aligned with current standards and best practices.
- Communicate clearly with customers about findings, repairs, and maintenance plans.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in automotive/diesel mechanics preferred.
- Background: Proven experience repairing or maintaining semi trailers or similar equipment.
- Technical strengths: Mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems proficiency.
- Documentation: Comfortable reading manuals and schematics.
- Traits: Problem solver with keen attention to detail; team‑oriented communicator.
- Licensing: Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Availability: Willing to work flexible hours, including evenings/weekends as needed.
