We are currently seeking a part-time Human Resources Intern to support the Human Resources Department. This temporary internship will consist of approximately 20–25 hours per week for a three-month period.
Position Summary
The Human Resources Intern supports the Human Resources Department with daily administrative tasks, recruitment, onboarding, employee records, training compliance, and employee engagement activities. This position provides hands-on experience in human resources operations within a behavioral healthcare environment while maintaining strict confidentiality and professionalism.
PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Assist with organizing and maintaining personnel files and human resources records.
- Monitor employee training, credentials, licenses, and compliance documentation.
- Provide general administrative support, including filing, copying, scanning, and data entry.
- Maintain the confidentiality of employee, applicant, patient, and facility information.
- Follow all facility policies, HIPAA requirements, and applicable employment regulations.
- Complete other duties and special projects as assigned.
Internship Status
This internship is designed to provide practical human resources experience. The intern does not have the authority to make employment decisions, access information outside their assigned duties, or provide independent policy interpretations.
