Are you looking for a rewarding career in the optometry industry? Premier Eyecare is seeking a dedicated and professional Optometric Technician to join our team in Farragut. As an Optometric Technician, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, providing excellent customer service and support to our patients. If you are well-organized, detail-oriented, and have a passion for helping others, we want to hear from you!

This is a full-time, Monday-Friday position with no weekend hours.

• Monday-Wednesday: 7:15 a.m.- 4:45 p.m.
• Thursday: 8:45 a.m.- 6:00 p.m.
• Friday: 7:15 a.m.-1:00 p.m.

Daily Responsibilities:

• Assist with pre-testing procedures for eye exams
• Operate autorefractors, lensometer, visual field equipment, and other opthalmic testing instruments
• Assist optometrists in obtaining accurate patient histories and diagnostic test results
• Provide exceptional patient care and support

Required Skills:

• Ability and willingness to learn pre-testing procedures and visual acuity measurements
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong computer skills
• Strong customer service and patient care skills

Nice to Have Skills:

• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations
• Previous experience with electronic medical records
• Background in medical assisting
• Experience in eye care or optometry field
• Proficiency in scheduling appointments and managing patient records
