National Account Executive The Detroit Regional Chamber in Detroit, MI is looking to hire a full-time National Account Executive to evaluate and develop one new industry for a group purchasing program with ODP (Office Depot). NATIONAL ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE SUMMARY The National Account Executive works closely with current partners including Abenity and ODP (Office Depot) representatives to pursue opportunities, implement new strategies, and grow overall program engagement. In this role you are responsible for driving new revenue growth through targeted channel development, strategic lead generation, and new business acquisition. This role manages and expands existing strategic partnerships with affiliates and associations while developing new partner relationships that generate measurable revenue for the Detroit Regional Chamber. The National Account Executive serves as a consultative business development leader responsible for developing new channels, building strategic partner relationships, generating, and qualifying leads, and guiding prospective partners through the sales and onboarding process while maximizing the value of the Chamber's programs, business solutions, and revenue-generating opportunities. QUALIFICATIONS FOR A NATIONAL ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE 3 - 5 year's experience in successful business development, partnerships or sales with a demonstrated ability to achieve revenue and growth objectives Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field required Experience identifying, prospecting, and developing new markets, networks, and strategic partnerships that generate qualified leads, scalable program growth, and revenue Ability to assess market potential, build a vertical-specific network and pipeline, and adapt the Hub-365 value proposition, partnership model, and go-to-market approach to the needs of a defined industry. Strong lead generation, pipeline management, consultative selling, and conversion skills, with the ability to guide prospective partners through the sales and onboarding process. Advanced proficiency with CRM, sales analytics, Microsoft 365, including Microsoft Copilot, support data analysis, executive reporting, partner proposals, outreach, and strategic planning. Must possess persuasive communication, presentation, relationship-building, and project management skills Ability to travel locally and nationally for events, conferences, and trade shows Ability to attend early morning and/or after business hours events and meetings WORK SCHEDULE FOR A NATIONAL ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE This position is full-time and typically works Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM . As you are pursuing business opportunities, you'll travel throughout southeastern Michigan and nationally for events, conferences, and trade shows. There are also opportunities to work from home.
