SPECIALTY PHYSICIAN SEEKS FULL-TIME MEDICAL ASSISTANT
A busy specialty medical practice in White Plains, NY is seeking a motivated, intelligent, personable and bilingual Medical Assistant to join our team full-time.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
* Prior medical assisting duties, including venipuncture, specimen processing and injections
* Obtain and document chief complaints, medication reviews and vital signs
* Prepare patients for examination and assist the physician with procedures
* Maintain examination rooms, supplies and clinical workflow
* Verify patients' insurance information and coordinate laboratory tests
* Schedule appointments and manage patient check-in/check-out as needed
* File documents and perform other administrative and front-desk responsibilities
QUALIFICATIONS:
* Prior Medical Assistant experience preferred
* Proficiency in venipuncture, specimen processing and injections
* Bilingual skills required
* Strong interpersonal, organizational and computer skills
* Dependable, professional and able to work effectively in a busy office setting
