Ideal Qualifications:

• Proficiency as a Sign Language Interpreter; experience in educational settings highly preferred
• Ability to manage high school caseloads
• EIPA score of 4.0 or higher preferred, but candidates with a provisional license and under 4.0 are welcome
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Commitment to fostering inclusive learning environments

Role Responsibilities:

• Interpret spoken language into American Sign Language (ASL) and vice versa for high school students
• Facilitate effective communication between students, staff, and faculty
• Support student participation in academic and extracurricular activities
• Work onsite during scheduled hours to ensure consistent support
