About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 14 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: Valid RN license required Certifications: BLS Must-Have: - Experience in Medical Surgical - Proficient in Epic charting system Description: The Registered Nurse will work in a medical surgical unit. The unit provides care for patients from adolescence to geriatrics. The nurse will manage a patient ratio of 1:6. Daily census averages around 33 patients in a 38-bed unit. Responsibility includes the administration of medications and treatments. Nurses will be involved in care coordination and patient education. Floating may occur within similar units as needed. Holidays and every other weekend coverage are required. Full compliance is expected prior to starting the position. All time off requests must be finalized at the time of submission. Additional responsibilities may include collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. Successful candidates will be dedicated to providing high-quality patient care.
