Shift: 3rd Shift

Schedule: 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM

Pay Rate: $24.50 per hour

Availability Requirements: Weekend and Holiday availability required

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team on 3rd shift. The ideal candidate will have strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting experience in a food manufacturing environment and be committed to maintaining equipment reliability, food safety, and production efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Perform maintenance and repairs on production and facility equipment.
Utilize hands-on experience with:
- Single-phase and three-phase wiring
- AC/DC motor controls
- Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), including wiring and programming
Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.
Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical equipment issues quickly and efficiently.
Assist production supervisors during equipment malfunctions and production downtime.
Follow all food safety, quality, and legal compliance requirements.
Request and track parts needed for preventative maintenance (PM) and work orders (WO).
Accurately document maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections on logs and reports.
Perform preventative maintenance on production and mechanical equipment according to company standards.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to maximize equipment uptime and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

Required

Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
Availability to work weekends and holidays as needed.

Preferred

2-3 years of maintenance mechanic experience in a manufacturing or food production environment.
Experience working with electrical systems and industrial controls.
GMP and HACCP certification (or willingness to obtain company-provided certification).
Sit-down and stand-up forklift certification.
Boom lift and scissor lift certification.
