Transitional Living Case Manager

The Spring is growing! We have an open position for a Transitional Living Case Manager. The Spring is a faith-based nonprofit serving those who have experienced domestic violence, sexual violence, and human trafficking and are searching for safety, advocacy, and restoration. Job Summary This position provides day-to-day administrative support for the residents of the Transitional Living programs. It also provides trauma-informed case management to survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, and human trafficking. Responsibilities include conducting intakes, creating individualized service and safety plans, assisting with applications for essential services, and offering ongoing emotional support and crisis intervention.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Direct Client Services Provide trauma-informed case management to survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, and human trafficking. Offer emotional support and empowerment-based advocacy Complete new intakes and program terminations according to policy and procedures Assist residents with applications and paperwork, including employment, housing, healthcare, victim compensation, protective orders, addiction services, social services, and legal filings Conduct comprehensive intakes and needs assessments to create individualized service and safety plans Offer to meet with residents at least weekly to review and update service goals and safety plans Facilitate support and educational groups for residents (must be available for after-hours groups) Resource Connection & Advocacy Provide information, referrals, and warm hand-offs to community partners and social service agencies Collaborate with law enforcement, legal advocates, healthcare providers, and other professionals to support holistic care Advocate on behalf of clients to reduce barriers and increase access to services Documentation & Program Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential case notes and service records Assist with adult and children's activities as needed Assist with on-call duties of Transitional Living Education High School Diploma or equivalent Associate or bachelor's degree in psychology, counseling, social work or related field preferred Qualifications One year administrative experience preferred One year experience in social services preferred Experience in domestic violence or sexual assault field, volunteer or related experience is suggested Familiarity with Oklahoma laws and systems impacting survivors Must be able to sign the Spring's Statement of Faith Valid Driver's license Knowledge, Abilities and Skills Able to successfully handle multiple demands and perform effectively Knowledge of domestic violence, sexual assault, trafficking and stalking dynamics Understanding of trauma-informed care principles Familiarity with social service systems, including housing, healthcare, employment resources and addition services Knowledge of victim rights, protective orders and related legal processes Knowledge of community resources and referral networks Ability to build trust and rapport with survivors of trauma Ability to remain calm and supportive during crises Ability to adapt to changing client needs and update service/safety plans accordingly Commitment to maintaining client confidentiality and ethical standards Willing and able to work both independently and as a team member Strong communications skills (verbal, written and active listening) Computer experience required.
