These jobs are responsible for processing various financial and administrative transactions, including accounts payable, payroll, procurement, and travel reimbursements. Ensures that transactions comply with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices. Maintains high standards for accuracy, timeliness, and data security.

The Business Process Coordinator I is an entry-level role responsible for processing front-end transactions, providing routine operational transaction support, and maintaining accurate records. The role requires strong attention to detail and the ability to follow established procedures to ensure smooth and efficient transaction processing.

The Business Process Coordinator II is a mid-level role responsible for processing complex transactions, resolving exceptions, and providing advanced operational support. This role applies independent judgment, supports process improvements, and serves as a resource to entry-level staff.

Responsibilities

Business Process Coordinator I

• Process and validate routine transactions with accuracy and efficiency.
• Provide routine operational support to units/departments by responding to transaction-related inquiries.
• Ensure all transactions comply with USU policies and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for all processed transactions.
• Respond to internal inquiries regarding transaction status, policy clarification, and documentation requirements.
• Identify and escalate transaction discrepancies or exceptions to senior team members.
• Assist in the implementation of minor process improvements as directed.
• Provides exceptional service by addressing customer needs with accuracy and professionalism

Business Process Coordinator II

• Process and validate complex and high-impact transactions with accuracy and efficiency
• Resolve transaction discrepancies, exceptions, and escalated issues independently
• Provide advanced operational support and guidance to departments and internal stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with USU policies, regulatory requirements, and audit standards
• Maintain accurate and complete transaction records and supporting documentation
• Analyze transaction workflows to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements
• Assist in training and mentoring Transaction Coordinator I staff
• Serve as a point of contact for more complex transaction-related inquiries
• Supports a high-quality customer experience through responsive, solution-oriented service

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• Business Process Coordinator I
  • One year of experience in data entry or transaction processing roles, preferably in a finance, accounting, or shared services environment.
• Business Process Coordinator II
  • Two years of experience in data entry or transaction processing roles, preferably in a finance, accounting, or shared services environment

Minimum $43,000, commensurate with experience plus excellent benefits
