Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provide specialized nursing care in the Emergency Room setting, responding to a diverse range of urgent and critical patient needs. Deliver high-quality patient assessments and interventions to ensure positive health outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions upon arrival and determine priority levels.
• Administer emergency treatments and medications as prescribed.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Utilize advanced clinical skills to stabilize patients and manage acute situations.
• Document patient information accurately in electronic health records.
• Assist with procedures such as IV insertions, intubations, and wound management.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid South Carolina RN license or Compact license before starting.
• Possess a minimum of 2 years of recent ER nursing experience.
• Certified in ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and PALS; TNCC preferred.
• Comfortable floating within scope to meet facility needs.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Epic charting system.
• Capable of working 3x12-hour day shifts, including every other weekend.
