Sr. Admin V&I TA Specialty

Merck seeks a senior administrative professional to provide comprehensive office management and executive support for the Medical Affairs General/Specialty Therapy Area. The role requires managing calendars, coordinating complex travel, handling confidential communications, and supporting high-level stakeholders with strong organizational and problem-solving capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage executive calendars, arrange meetings, and coordinate domestic and international travel logistics
• Handle confidential communications, office records retention, and correspondence generation
• Coordinate meetings, teleconferences, and off-site events across multiple internal and external stakeholders
• Direct high-volume inquiries and matters to appropriate parties within the organization
• Support special projects and manage multiple concurrent tasks with minimal supervision

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 10 years administrative assistant experience
• Minimum 5 years supporting senior directors and executives
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and internal systems
• Demonstrated expertise scheduling complex domestic and international travel
• Strong organizational and project management skills with exceptional attention to detail
• Preferred: SAP/CONCUR experience, professional certifications (CAP, PMP, PHR)
