Orthodontic Referral Coordinator & Marketing Specialist-VA

Overview We are seeking an energetic, relationship-driven Orthodontic Referral Coordinator & Marketing Specialist to grow and strengthen our practice through exceptional referring doctor relationships, community outreach, social media engagement, and digital marketing initiatives. This role combines in-person dental marketing with online brand management and patient acquisition strategies to support continued practice growth. The ideal candidate is outgoing, organized, creative, and comfortable building professional relationships while also managing social media, content creation, and local SEO efforts. Responsibilities Collaborate closely with brand manager and operation teams to identify demographics, brand-specific messaging, and competitive price points for effective advertising, sponsorships, and community initiatives. Source and coordinate media buys for print, television, radio, outdoor and other venues as needed. Write and edit advertising copy and collaborate with external advertising agency to guide projects from initiation to completion. Develop and execute branding initiatives to promote and position our dental offices as the best in their communities. Create marketing plans, track invoices, measure campaign performance, and provide ROI. Grow online presence through website updates, original content, online reputation management and social media interaction. Order promotional materials, coordinate event participation, and follow up on new patient acquisition leads. Create high-quality, accurate marketing collateral on deadline for multiple markets and audiences. Competencies Ensures Accountability – Holds self and others accountable to meet commitments. Qualifications Previous experience in orthodontics, dental marketing, or healthcare marketing preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Comfortable networking and visiting dental offices independently. Experience with social media platforms and content creation tools. Basic understanding of SEO, Google Business Profile, and digital marketing concepts. Proficient with Canva, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and Microsoft Office/Google Suite. Photography and video editing experience is a plus. Highly organized with strong follow-through. Positive attitude with a professional appearance and demeanor.
