Description: CT Technologist About Facility: o 8800 N. Tryon St., Charlotte, NC 28262 o 130 Licensed Beds o Stroke Center o Not Trauma designated trauma patients transferred to CMC Main after stabilization o Not a Teaching hospital o Radius rule: Traveler s permanent address must be 50 miles outside of home unit Department Information: o On average, how many scans are performed per day? Discussed during interview with Manager o Minimum Years of Experience required: 1 year CT experience o Will you accept a first-time traveler: Yes Patient Types/Common Scans: o All patient population will be served to include - ED, Inpatient, Observation, and Outpatient patients Required License, National Certification, Certs (BLS, ACLS, etc.), or other position specific requirements such as Driver's License and/or Insurance: o BLS required o ARRT-CT required o NC State Licensure not required Skills required: o Discussed during interview with manager Support within the Department: o Guest Services/Trasport for Inpatient & Observation patients that require transport to the department o Radiologist access 24/7 Technology/Equipment: o EMR: EPIC o RIS: Epic Radiant o PACS: Philips iSite o Department specific Equipment: Siemens Floating: Is traveler required to float to other facilities? o No Orientation (facility and unit): o NEO o 2 days departmental Scheduling: o Weekend rotation: None o No call o Holiday Expectations: Travelers will work on holidays that fall on scheduled shifts o RTO: Manager approval o Shift times: varies shift will be on requisition o Schedule cycle: 13 weeks Other notes: o Scrub Color: Black o Parking: Free o Unit Culture: Teamwork 1384829
