Our client, is seeking a Staff Accountant to join its accounting team. This is a highly visible role that supports core accounting functions, financial reporting, and cross-functional initiatives while working closely with senior finance leadership.

Key Responsibilities for the Staff Accountant
- Assist with monthly close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis
- Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules in accordance with GAAP
- Support external audit processes by preparing documentation and responding to requests
- Partner with operations and client teams to ensure accurate financial reporting
- Maintain and help improve internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures
- Prepare ad hoc reports and financial analysis for leadership
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data across reporting processes
Qualifications for the Staff Accountant
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA track preferred)
- 2–4 years of accounting experience, preferably in financial services, public accounting, or a similar environment
- Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and internal controls
- Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with ERP/accounting systems
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Effective communicator with the ability to collaborate across teams
- Motivated, analytical, and eager to grow professionally
