QC Lab Co-Op

Johnson & Johnson seeks a Quality Control Lab Co-Op student for a full-time, year-long position (January–December 2027) in Gurabo, Puerto Rico. The role involves supporting QC laboratory operations through data analysis, inventory management, process improvement initiatives, and dashboard development across pharmaceutical manufacturing teams.

Responsibilities

• Analyze laboratory material usage, inventory, and purchasing data to identify trends and insights
• Support development and standardization of QC laboratory purchasing processes
• Assist in creating site-wide laboratory materials database and baseline inventory
• Develop dashboards and reports using Excel and Power BI for operations visibility
• Identify process improvement opportunities using Lean principles and present recommendations to leadership

Requirements

• Completed freshman year at accredited university; pursuing bachelor's in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Engineering, or related field
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
• Permanent U.S. work authorization; no visa sponsorship needed now or in future
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; Power BI experience preferred
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
• Interest in pharmaceutical manufacturing and continuous improvement methods
