Registered Nurse - Oncology

Job Summary:


Seeking a dedicated RN to provide specialized care on the adult inpatient oncology unit. The nurse will deliver hematology/oncology treatments, support patient recovery, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities:

• Administer chemotherapy and immunotherapy treatments in accordance with protocols.
• Monitor patient responses, manage side effects, and adjust care plans as needed.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to develop individualized care strategies.
• Document patient assessments, treatments, and progress accurately in electronic health records.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, infection control, and facility policies.
• Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and families.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with verification required at submission.
• BLS certification is mandatory; ACLS preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent inpatient oncology nursing experience.
• Epic EMR system experience necessary.
• ONS Chemotherapy and Immunotherapy certification required; Fundamentals course may be completed prior to start if pending.
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and adhere to floating policies.
