Operator Cheese Maker Albertsons Companies. Position will be based in Denver, CO. Salary is $26.67. We support our stores with 22 distribution centers and 19 manufacturing plants. What you will be doing Operate all equipment to cook cheese. Main Responsibilities Maintain constant communication with fluid processing, assist with start-up and shut-down processes. Receive batches. Partner with lab on samples and required testing. Solve problems with product flow. Complete sanitation tasks such as cleaning and sanitizing all cheese-making and cheese care equipment. Keep the workstation clean and organized. Follow SOP for cheese making and established protocols for cheese quality and food safety. Adjust pH, use pH meter, moisture analyzer, and other technical equipment. Maintain cheese inventory database. Work and thrive in a production environment. Maintain equipment, record production details, and manage ingredients. Follow company safety guidelines and support team efforts, product quality, and process improvements. Train new team members in cheese production. Perform any other job duties requested by foremen/supervision. Requirements Previous dairy experience is preferred but not required. Must possess good written and verbal communication skills. Perform basic math (add, subtract, multiply, divide). Must be able to stand/walk almost the entire workday.
