Investment Analyst

Our client is a boutique, vertically integrated commercial real estate investment and development platform headquartered in Austin. Founded in 2018, the firm specializes in acquiring, developing, and operating industrial, office, and mixed‑use assets across Texas. With approximately 4MM SF of commercial development and 230+ acres of land under control , they offer a highly entrepreneurial environment where team members have direct exposure to ownership and investment decisions. The Opportunity Our client is seeking an Investments Analyst to support the asset management team in maximizing portfolio performance across an industrial‑focused portfolio. This role is ideal for someone looking to build their career within a lean investment platform, gaining exposure to asset management, portfolio analytics, leasing strategy, business plan execution, and investment decision‑making. Responsibilities Support asset managers in executing business plans across industrial assets Analyze property operating performance, budgets, and forecasts Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual portfolio reporting Develop financial models to evaluate asset performance and investment returns Track leasing activity, occupancy, rental rates, and operating metrics Assist with annual budgeting, reforecasts, and variance analysis Create dashboards and portfolio reporting using Power BI Support capital expenditure tracking and ROI analysis Work closely with acquisitions, development, leasing, and property management teams Prepare presentations and reporting for ownership and investment partners Requirements 2–5 years of commercial real estate experience Previous experience supporting industrial assets is essential Strong financial modelling and analytical skills Advanced Excel skills Power BI experience is required Experience with Argus Enterprise, Yardi, or similar platforms is preferred Strong understanding of asset management, leasing, and commercial property performance Excellent communication and presentation skills Self‑starter who enjoys working within a lean, entrepreneurial team Preferred Background Industrial owner/operator, developer, REIT, or private equity platform experience Experience preparing investment committee materials, portfolio reporting, or asset business plans #J-18808-Ljbffr Blayze Group
