Position Overview

Chartis Federal is seeking a Senior Financial Management Business Analyst to lead financial management support services for USDA FPAC. This position will oversee budget planning, financial analysis, spend plan execution, and interagency agreement management activities.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead financial management support activities and serve as task lead
• Develop and maintain budgets, spend plans, and financial forecasts
• Monitor financial performance and provide analytical recommendations
• Support Interagency Agreement (IAA) development and management
• Prepare financial reports, executive briefings, and budget analyses
• Coordinate with federal stakeholders on budget execution and planning activities
• Conduct financial reconciliations and variance analyses
• Develop and implement process improvements
• Provide mentorship and oversight to supporting analysts

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
• Minimum of 10 years of experience supporting federal financial management
• Extensive knowledge of federal budgeting, appropriations, and financial management practices
• Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills
• USDA or federal civilian financial management experience preferred

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified Government Financial Manager(CGFM)
• Certified Defense Financial Manager (CDFM)
• Certified Project Management Professional (PMP)
• Experience supporting USDA or other civilian Federal agencies
