JR102063 Director of Community Outreach and Engagement (Open) Department: College of Health Professions, JM Position Type: Non-Regular Fixed Term (Fixed Term) Open Date: 08-04-2026 Close Date: 08-25-2026 Salary: $125,000.00 Annually The Director of Community Outreach and Engagement will coordinateand manage outreach, community engagement, Clinic expansioninitiatives, and collaborate with the Dean of the college toadvance research and community service initiatives. Responsibilities: Teaching in the classroom, clinical/campus laboratory fieldpracticum sites, seminars; Participating in CHP meetings andcoordination of CHC meetings on a regular basis. Monitors and ensures that clinic protocols and establishedpractices are current and in accordance with state and nationalguidelines for primary care services. Collaboration with communityagencies for health education, health promotion initiatives forfaculty and students in the CHP. Planning, supervising, and evaluating community agencies forservice-related initiatives that impact student learning andfaculty competency. Establishing a community advisory panel toaddress community needs and provide community assessment andevaluation initiatives. Engaged in community outreach initiativesthat address health disparities across the life span. Identifies and implements initiatives to improve access tohealth care and resources. Directs and coordinates communityengagement initiatives to expand primary care services to includebehavioral health, care of children, and geriatric care.Establishes initiatives aimed at increasing community awareness andseeking health for the CHC as a primary care facility. Coordinate and manage outreach, community engagement, andclinic expansion initiatives, and collaborate with the Dean of thecollege to advance research and community serviceinitiatives. Establish, in collaboration with the Dean of the CHP, a programof research aimed at community involvement, student and faculty-ledresearch that addresses health disparities, health inequities, andis inclusive of the community. Minimum Qualifications:

EDUCATION

Earned a doctorate in a health-related field. Nationalcertification in disciple or specialty preferred.

EXPERIENCE

A minimum of one year of clinic management. Faculty teaching experience a minimum of 1 year.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

Research expertise as demonstrated with funding or involvementin research activities. Conditions of Employment: Operate personal computer and audio-visual equipment. Stand or sit for up to one to three hours at a time. Fly or drive to off-site meetings or conferences or to observesubjects in project. Move around campus for classes and meetings.
