Our client, a respected main contractor delivering high-quality housing developments across Dublin and nearby regions, is seeking a capable Site Manager to take ownership of upcoming residential new build projects.About the Company This established main contractor has a proven track record in delivering large-scale housing schemes, apartment developments, and mixed-use residential projects. With a strong pipeline of work and a commitment to high standards, they offer a supportive environment for ambitious construction professionals.The Role As Site Manager, you will oversee all on-site activities to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Managing and coordinating all site operations for residential new build projects
- Supervising subcontractors, direct labour, and site personnel
- Ensuring adherence to programme schedules and project milestones
- Implementing and maintaining strict health, safety, and quality standards
- Conducting site meetings, reporting progress, and resolving any on-site issues
- Working closely with project managers, engineers, and design teams
- Ensuring compliance with building regulations, specifications, and client requirementsRequirements
- Proven experience as a Site Manager with a main contractor
- Strong background in residential construction (housing or apartments)
- Excellent leadership, organisation, and communication skills
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and technical documentation
- A solid understanding of Irish building regulations and safety standards
- Strong problem-solving skills and capability to manage multiple stakeholders
