Travel Radiologic Technologist in Cicero, IL

Schedule/Hours:

• 8-hour shifts: Days (8:30a-5p), Mids (2:30p-11p), Nights (10:30p-7a)
• Weekend rotation: Every other weekend
• Holiday shifts not required
• Four-week schedule cycles, with schedules provided 1-2 weeks in advance
• Flexibility in time off, pending managerial approval
• On-call not required, but available if desired

Qualifications:

• Active BLS and ARRT certifications
• IEMA license (No limited licenses)
• General x-ray proficiency: chest, long bones, etc.
• Acute care experience required (not just mobile x-ray)
• Fluoroscopy and OR experience a plus, but not mandatory
• Comfortable with portable imaging and working independently on night shifts
• Familiarity with EMR-EPIC, and GE X-ray equipment
• Adaptability to different settings within the imaging department

Role Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of general x-ray exams, including in ER and portable settings
• Work autonomously, especially during night shifts
• Collaborate with a supportive team, including lead techs, 24/7 RT and hospitalists, and radiologists available during daytime hours
• Accurately document scans in GE PACS and EPIC systems
• Engage in a comprehensive, supportive orientation process
