Schedule/Hours:

• 12-hour Day Shifts
• Every other weekend required
• Holiday coverage as needed

Requirements:

• Active RN license (Illinois)
• Minimum 2 years' direct Stroke/Neuro nursing experience
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications (all current)
• Successful completion of EKG test
• Demonstrated ability to float to like units as needed
• Adaptability to working every other weekend and select holidays
• Preferred: 3+ years of experience in acute neuro settings

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-level care for medical-surgical/telemetry and neuro-stroke patients
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, adhering to best practices
• Provide patient and family education
• Contribute to a safe, compassionate environment
• Adapt to floating assignments as operationally required
