Travel Medical-Surgical Nurse (RN) - Cicero, Illinois

Schedule/Hours:

• Day shift, 12-hour shifts
• Every other weekend required
• Holiday shifts as needed

As an RN specializing in Med-Surg/Telemetry, you'll work within a dynamic facility, assuming key responsibilities in stroke and neuro care. Expect to broaden your clinical skills while adapting to new protocols and flourishing under different leadership styles. Minimum Qualifications:

• Current RN license (state-eligible)
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (all required at time of application)
• Successful passing of EKG test
• Minimum 2 years recent stroke/neuro experience
• Preferred: 3 years of experience in the specialty
• Willingness to float as needed to similar units

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive care to neuro and stroke patients
• Accurately document patient status and interventions
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Flexibly adapt to different units and float as required
• Participate in orientation (24-32 hours)
