Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Location: Sullivan County, New Hampshire

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Days shift, 16 hours from 7 AM to 11 PM, with a guarantee of 48 hours per week. Must be available for any shift as needed.

Job Description: The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) will deliver basic nursing and restorative care within the facility's policies and procedures, under the supervision of licensed practical nurses (LPNs) and registered nurses (RNs). The CNA will participate in resident care by assisting with daily living activities and ensuring a safe environment for all residents.

Responsibilities:

• Assist residents with personal hygiene including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Administer specified skin care treatments according to facility protocol.
• Provide assistance with ambulation and mobility, including range of motion exercises and transfers.
• Support residents with nutrition and bodily waste management including feeding and toileting.
• React appropriately to emergency situations and ensure resident safety at all times.
• Maintain confidentiality and privacy of residents while complying with established nursing standards.
• Utilize infection control techniques and respect the spiritual beliefs of residents.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• 1+ year of current experience in a CNA role is required.
• Must be willing to float between different shifts as necessary.
• Previous travel experience is preferred.
• Experience in a rural or small facility setting is highly preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• COVID-19 vaccination series is mandatory; no declinations or exemptions accepted.
