Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days (0700–1930) | 3x12-hour shifts | 36 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and provide high-quality, compassionate patient care utilizing the nursing process and unit-specific standards of practice
• Develop, implement, and continuously reassess individualized patient plans of care, including physical, psychological, social, and rehabilitative needs
• Administer medications, complete nursing procedures and treatments, and perform holistic ongoing patient assessments
• Accurately document care provided, assessments, plans of care, interventions, and patient responses
• Educate patients, families, and significant others on appropriate health information in a timely manner
• Communicate and collaborate with all members of the healthcare team while maintaining a clean and safe environment; required to take call and may float in rotation including as a sitter

Required Qualifications

• Active Washington State RN licensure or Compact RN licensure
• Active BLS, PALS, and ACLS certifications required
• Ability to function consistently within the guidelines of the Washington Nurse Practice Act and unit-specific standards of practice
• Demonstrated ability to delegate appropriately and oversee care provided by non-licensed assistive personnel
• Commitment to maintaining current knowledge of workflows, processes, and evidence-based procedures

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior PACU or post-anesthesia care nursing experience
• Experience with discharge planning, patient education, and continual evaluation of care appropriateness
