Shop Foreman

Werco Manufacturing is hiring a Shop Foreman to own production flow across our floor. For more than 39 years, Werco has been a trusted AS9100D-certified, ITAR-registered precision manufacturing partner serving aerospace, defense, energy, and data center customers. We do it all under one roof: fabrication, machining, assembly, paint and powder coat, and more. We are growing at a parabolic rate, and we need a leader who can scale right alongside us while keeping work moving and the schedule winning. What you will own You will be the heartbeat of the shop. Your job is to make sure every job flows from raw material through fabrication, machining, assembly, and finishing without stalling, and that we meet or exceed schedule every week. That means staying ahead of bottlenecks, balancing workload across machines and cells, and making the call before a problem becomes a delay. We are looking for someone who does not wait to be told what to do. You see what needs to happen and you make it happen. Day to day you will: Drive daily production flow across fabrication, machining, assembly, and paint/powder coat to hit and beat schedule Prioritize and sequence work to keep all cells loaded and moving Identify and clear bottlenecks before they cost us a delivery Lead, coach, and hold accountable a team of skilled operators, welders, machinists, and finishers Partner with scheduling, quality, and engineering to keep jobs on track Build and improve processes that let us scale capacity without losing control of flow or quality Champion safety, 5S, and a clean, disciplined shop floor Track throughput and report status with clear, honest numbers What you bring Proven leadership experience in a fabrication, machining, or precision manufacturing environment A bias for action and a track record of taking initiative without being asked Strong understanding of fabrication, machining, assembly, and finishing processes, routings, and lead times The ability to read the floor, make fast decisions, and keep a team motivated through rapid growth Comfort in a fast-paced, high-mix environment serving aerospace, defense, energy, and data center customers Commitment to quality and on-time delivery as non-negotiables Why Werco You will join a family-owned company with 39 years of reputation and a growth curve that is just getting started.
