Automotive Lead & Appointment Specialist (BDC)

Position Overview

Cincy AutoMall is seeking a motivated, energetic, and customer focused Automotive Lead & Appointment Specialist to join our dealership team.

This is a customer lead and appointment setting position , not a traditional business development or management role. You will be responsible for communicating with customers who have expressed interest in purchasing a vehicle, following up with new and existing leads, answering basic questions, and scheduling appointments for customers to visit the dealership.

Our ideal candidate is comfortable communicating by phone, text, email, and online messaging and understands that consistent follow up is one of the most important parts of the automotive sales process.

This is a great opportunity for someone with customer service, call center, appointment setting, inside sales, or automotive experience who enjoys talking with people and working toward measurable goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond quickly and professionally to new customer leads received through the dealership website, phone, text, email, online marketplaces, and other lead sources
• Make outbound calls and send text and email follow ups to prospective customers
• Build relationships with customers through consistent and professional follow up
• Schedule dealership appointments for customers interested in purchasing or viewing vehicles
• Confirm upcoming appointments and follow up with customers who miss or reschedule appointments
• Re engage older leads and previous customers to identify new sales opportunities
• Answer basic questions about available vehicles, dealership services, financing options, and the purchasing process
• Identify customer needs and gather useful information for the sales team before the customer’s appointment
• Maintain accurate customer notes, activities, and appointment information within the dealership CRM
• Follow established dealership communication and follow up processes
• Work closely with the sales team to ensure customers receive a smooth handoff when they arrive
• Maintain a high level of professionalism across phone, text, email, and online conversations
• Meet or exceed individual and team performance goals, including response time, outbound activity, appointments scheduled, appointments confirmed, and customer show rate

• Friendly, professional, and persistent without being overly aggressive
• Strong follow up habits and attention to detail
• Ability to stay organized while managing multiple customer conversations
• Comfortable working with computers and learning CRM software
• Goal oriented and motivated by measurable performance
• Dependable and able to work effectively as part of a dealership sales team

Previous automotive experience is not required . Experience in customer service, inside sales, appointment setting, call centers, hospitality, retail, or other customer facing positions can translate well into this role.

Training will be provided for the right candidate.

Compensation & Growth

Compensation will be based on experience, qualifications, and performance and will be discussed during the interview process.

Earning potential up to $60,000 per year , with opportunities for increased compensation based on individual performance and growth within the dealership.
