Commercial/Corporate Underwriter - Vice President

Role Overview Vice President, Credit Officer – Healthcare at Citi’s Commercial Lending Management in Irving, Texas provides end‑to‑end credit ownership for a Healthcare portfolio, supporting a range of loan products. Key Responsibilities Credit Underwriting & Portfolio Ownership – Lead end‑to‑end lending process, pre‑screen opportunities, review underwriting analysis, and account for credit decisions. Risk Management & Monitoring – Oversee portfolio reviews, covenant monitoring, regulatory classification, and address emerging credit concerns. Execution & Documentation – Direct loan documentation and collaborate with internal stakeholders and counsel. Stakeholder Partnership – Participate in client discussions, provide sector insights, and represent credit interests. Leadership & Development – Mentor junior staff, contribute to training, and recommend process improvements. Qualifications & Experience Required – 6–10 years in commercial credit underwriting, portfolio management, or credit risk; bachelor’s degree in finance or a related field; strong financial statement analysis; sound judgment and communication skills; experience in a large or regional financial institution. Preferred – Healthcare industry credit experience; master’s degree or professional certification.
