As a Commissioning & Energy Specialist on our team in St. Louis, you will participate in both onsite and office activities to support Commissioning and Energy projects.You will have the opportunity to lead and perform all commissioning related activities to include testing (QA/QC, Functional Performance), equipment and systems start-up, resulting in a safe and functional environment that meets established design requirements and stakeholder expectations. Projects that you will engage with will include commissioning for new construction and renovations, existing building commissioning, as well as asset management projects.You will have the responsibility of working directly with Jacobs clients, project stakeholders, and contractors to achieve the best possible outcome for the owner/client with a focus on operational performance and efficiency. You will also have the opportunity to be involved in energy projects including audits, efficiency studies and renewable energy development focused on improving performance for clients.Design your career with a company that inspires and empowers you to deliver your best work so you and your teams can evolve, grow, and succeed.Here's What You'll NeedBachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or equivalent experienceAt least 5 years of experience in commissioning, design or construction management with a focus on mechanical, electrical, plumbing or building envelope systemsWorking knowledge of building code requirementsUS CitizenshipAbility to travel up to 50% - Travel may include multi-week field assignments and periodic long-term assignments may be requiredIdeally, You'll Also Have:Knowledge of mechanical, electrical or building envelope systemsUnderstanding of the Construction processExperience in mission critical/data center construction and/or operationIndustry recognized commissioning certificationProfessional Engineer licensure or Engineer-In-Training CertificationIndustry recognized energy management certificationCurrent or past security clearanceLEED or other sustainability certificationOur health and welfare benefits are designed to invest in you, and in the things you care about.
