Whether you hold your Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or are completing your Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), your abilities and passion for helping children thrive are highly valued here.
What we're seeking:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
- ASHA certification (CCC preferred; CFY candidates strongly encouraged to apply).
- New York state SLP licensure, or eligibility to obtain prior to start.
- School-based SLP experience is a plus, but not required for Clinical Fellows.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams.
Role highlights:
- Provide direct and consultative speech-language services to students K-12 (caseload to be determined).
- Conduct evaluations, assessments, and develop individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Track progress and maintain accurate documentation aligned with district and state guidelines.
- Participate in team meetings to support student success strategies.
- Promote communication skills that foster academic and social achievement.
Experience a school environment committed to supporting both seasoned and early-career SLPs, with mentorship available for Clinical Fellows. Work consistent hours—40 per week—enhancing work/life balance.
